SPRINGFLOWER MANDALA

SIZE: ca 22 cm

YARN: Scheepjes Catona 100% cotton. Colour nr  130, 403, 520, 240, 392, 512

HOOK: 3,0 mm

YOU WILL NEED: Scissor and tapestry needle to weave yarn tails in

STITCH GUIDE:

slst – slipstitch

ch – chain

sc – single crochet

hdc – half double crochet

dc – double crochet

chsp– chain space

bp – back post

GOOD TO KNOW:

Repeat *-* untill the end of the round

Finish all rounds with a sl st

PATTERN:

1:  Color nr 130. Start with a magic ring (here is a good tutorial if you are not familiar with how to do a magic ring), Into magic ring, 12 dc, join with sl st.

2:  Color nr 130. Ch3 (counts as first dc), 1 dc, *2 dc between every dc* join with a slst to top of beg ch3. Fasten off

3:  Color nr 403. Start between any of the 2dcgrp, ch4, sc between dcgrp *ch3, sc between dcgrp. Join with a slst in the first ch.

4. Color nr 403. Slst to next chsp, *(sc + ch2 + 2 dc + ch2 + sc) in next chsp* Join wiht a slst in the first sc. Fasten off.

5. Color nr 520. Start in a sc. Ch5, sc between the dc’s, ch 2, 1 dc in the sc * ch2, sc between the dc’s, ch2, 1 dc in the sc* join with a slst to top of the beg ch3. Fasten off.

6. Color nr 403. Start in any dc. Ch6, 1 dc in the sc, ch4, *1 dc in the dc, ch4, 1 dc in the sc* join with a slst in the third ch.

7. Color nr 403. Slst to next chsp. Sc in the chsp* ch4, sc in next chsp* join with a slst in the first sc.

8. Color nr 403. Repeat row 7

 

9. Color nr 403. Slst to next chsp. Sc in the chsp* ch5, sc in next chsp* join with a slst in the first sc. Fasten off.

10. Color nr 520. Ch3 in any chsp, (3 dc + ch3 + 4 dc) in the same chsp, sc in next chsp *( 4 dc + ch3 + 4 dc ) in next chsp, sc in next chsp* join with a slst in top of beg ch3. Fasten off.

11. Color nr 240. This row you’ll be working in the bp. Ch2 in any first dc, 2 hdc in next st, 1 hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next st, (1 dc + ch3 + 1 dc) in the chsp, 2 hdc in next st, 1 hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next st, 1 hdc in next st, 1 sc in the sc from row 10 * 1 hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next st, 1 hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next st, (1 dc + ch3 + 1 dc) in the chsp, 2 hdc in next st, 1 hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next st, 1 hdc in next st, 1 sc in the sc from row 10* join with a slst in the top of beg ch2. Fasten off.

12. Color nr 392. This row you’ll be working in the bp. Ch3 in the thrid hdc, 2 hdc, 2 sc ( 1 sc + ch2 + 1 sc) in the chsp, 2 sc, 2 hdc, 1 dc, skip 5 st * 1 dc, 2 hdc, 2 sc ( 1 sc + ch2 + 1 sc) in the chsp, 2 sc, 2 hdc, 1 dc, skip 5 st* join with a slst in top of beg ch3. Fasten off.

 

13. Color nr 512. This row you’ll be working in the bp. Sc in any first dc, 2 sc, 2 hdc, 1 dc, (1 dc + ch3 + 1 dc) in the chsp, 1 dc, 2 hdc, 3 sc, 1 sc between the dcs from row 12, *3 sc, 2 hdc, 1 dc, (1 dc + ch3 + 1 dc) in the chsp, 1 dc, 2 hdc, 3 sc, 1 sc between the dcs from row 12* join with a slst in the first sc. Fasten off

 

And now your done!
