SIZE: approximatly 170 x 120 cm

YARN: Scheepjes Colour Crafter 17 skeins in total. 5 skeins 1005, 2 skeins 1080, 2 skeins 1422, 2 skeins 1711, 2 skeins 1827, 2 skeins 2004 och 2 skeins 2019.

HOOK: 4,0 mm and 4,5 mm

STITCHTUTORIAL

ch – chain

slst – slipstitch

sc – single crochet

hdc – half double crochet

dc – double crochet

frpdc – frontpost double crochet

bpdc – backpost double crochet

sk – skip

st sc – standing single crochet

st dc – standing double crochet

GOOD TO KNOW

Start every row with a standing dc

Repeat between *-*

Turn every row with ch3

Pattern repeat is 14 + 3 ch

PATTERN

With hook 4,5 chain 238 + 3

Change your hook to 4,0

Row 1: 1 dc into 4 th chain from your hook, 4 dc, dc2tog over next 2 st, dc2tog over next 2 st, 4 dc, *2 dc into next st, 2 dc into next st, 4 dc, dc2tog over next 2 st, dc2tog over next st, 4 dc* repeat between *-* ending last rep with 2 dc, turn.

Row 2: ch3, 1 dc in same st, 4 frpdc, bpdc2tog over next 2 st, bpdc2tog over next 2 st, 4 frpdc, *2 bpdc in next st, 2 bpdc in next st, 4 frpdc, bpdc2tog over next 2 st, bpdc2tog over next 2 st, 4 frpdc* repeat between *-* ending last repeat with 2dc. Turn.

Row 3: Dont change color, I have done it only to show you the pattern and stitches better. Ch3, 1 dc in same st, 4 bpdc, frpdc2tog over next 2 st, frpdc2tog over next 2 st, 4 bpdc, *2 frpdc in next st, 2 frpdc in next st, 4 bpdc, frpdc2tog over next 2 st, frpdc2tog over next 2 st, 4 bpdc, repeat between *-* ending the last repeat with dc. Turn

Repeat row 2 and 3 untill the length of your desire.

My blanket is made like this, 4 rows of color and 2 rows with white. I have used every color 5 times.

Border:

Change color every row. Start and finish with white.

Row 1: Place your blanket with the right side up, start in the” lower” righthand side corner and work your way up along the longside first. Start with a st dc around the first post st, make one more dc around the same st, 2 dc around every post st along the side, in the last one you make 2 dc, ch2, 2 sc. Now lets make the upper short side, 3 sc, 2 hdc *4 dc, 2 hdc, 6 sc, 2 hdc* repeat until 3 st left, make 2 sc, make 2 sc, ch2, 2 dc in the corner, repeat the longside, make 2 dc ch2 2 dc. Now we are in for the lower short side, 3 dc, 2 hdc, 6 sc, 2 hdc, *4 dc, 2 hdc, 6 sc, 2 hdc* repeat until 3 st left, make 3 dc, make 2 dc, ch2, close the row with a slst. Change color.
